31 Mar Bobby Madley Praises School

Below is the full letter he sent after visiting our school as part of the Premier League Primary Stars campaign.

My name is Bobby Madley and I am a referee in the Premier League. Last night I attended the launch of the Premier League Primary Stars programme at your wonderful school.
I felt it was only right to email you this morning and thank you for the outstanding welcome I received on arrival at the school by your pupils.
I was given a personal guided tour by two of your male Year 6 students. The enthusiasm and pride the children have for their school, the football pitch and even the way they saw fit to mention how they include a disabled child in your school at playtimes was amazing to see!
Young people all too often get a bad name, that their communication skills are lacking due to over consumption of TV and computers, this couldn’t be further from the truth from what I experienced last night.
The night itself was a great success but my lasting impression was the friendliness of your pupils for which I can only thank you and them.
I wish you much success as a school and thank you again for your hospitality yesterday evening.
Best wishes,
Bobby Madley
FIFA & Premier League Referee
